SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Spokane County Sheriff's Office says a man was stabbed at least four times at the Hooters in the Spokane Valley Saturday evening.
A deputy was called to the Hooters on 16208 E. Indiana around 9 p.m. The victim told the deputy that he saw an old acquaintance at the casino and asked him to go outside. The victim believed the suspect wanted to work out issues from the past, but the suspect pulled out a folding knife.
The victim told the deputy he thought he was going to get stabbed so he hit the suspect in the face one time. The suspect then attacked the victim stabbing him at least four times before he could get away.
Deputies viewed surveillance video and verified that the victim's story was true.
The victim suffered non-serious injuries and deputies have information about the suspect, but have not released it.
The incident is still being investigated.
