PORTLAND – Officers found a man who was stabbed in the neck lying in a pool of blood in Southeast Portland early Sunday, police said.
Officers found 27-year-old Loan Posteuca bleeding in a parking lot near the intersection of Southeast 160th Avenue and Southeast Division Street around 2:15 a.m., said Sgt. Pete Simpson with the Portland Police Bureau.
Posteuca told police that he was at a bar on Southeast 122nd Avenue when a large fight broke out and he was stabbed.
Officers searched the area but could not find the scene of the crime, Simpson said.
Posteuca was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. He is expected to survive his injuries.
