Hi, Ciscoe: I moved to Eugene, OR 18 months ago and quickly discovered your show on NWCN. I love your wild abandon in dispensing gardening advice/tips! Seeing as how I am a total rookie about gardening in the NW and knew nothing about the climate, soil, plant life, etc. in this area, your show has been of real assistance to me.
I am submitting some photos of Foxglove 'Apricot'-Digitalis purpurea. I am so proud of this plant that I bought at a close-out sale last summer and planted in a corner of my side yard. I was completely unfamiliar with Foxglove and so I am blown away by the beauty and detail of this perennial. My strategy since moving to OR has been to buy plants that I am not familiar with and experiment! In my opinion, this plant is a success story and worthy of your consideration.
My thanks to you (and Megan) for providing us "wannabe" gardeners with such practical advice and entertainment! Keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
cjc
