This video shows the intensity of the downpour in Omak yesterday (July 20, 2012) at about 1:45PM. Twenty minutes earlier it was dry. The garbage can at the end of the downspout has 3 drainage holes in the bottom to keep rain from washing away new pavers and grass seed. The amount of water coming off the roof overwhelmed the drainage holes and filled this 50 gallon container in a matter of minutes. The drain gutters were overwhelmed too and the water simply poured off the roof where ever it could.
