This was my family's first summer growing our own veggies and we decided to try out growing some Walla Walla onions. While most of friends and neighbors harvested onions the size of tennis balls, our onions continued to grow bigger and bigger! Once we harvested them, they were the size of our daughter's head! Our daughter, Freyja was very excited to harvest them and even more excited to eat them! We had no clue we could ever get them this big! Our family is so excited about gardening now and we cannot wait to try growing another batch of onions!
