Partly Sunny

A Bit Milder

Warming Up Later This Week

After a cool and fairly cloudy Mother's Day for many, Monday will bring drier and slightly milder conditions. A morning shower is possible in parts of Washington, but partly sunny skies should predominate after that. Highs will still be a bit below average, generally reaching the 60s around the region. Winds will also die down in eastern Washington and Oregon.

Tuesday will bring another chance of rain, especially to areas of western Washington. A warm front will promote this rain that will linger into Wednesday. Look for improvement by Wednesday afternoon.

Then get ready for Thursday and Friday. A thermal trough is expected to develop -- basically, it's going to get really warm. Widespread highs in the 80s will predominate, and a few 90s are possible in the lower Columbia Basin. But the flirtation with summer will begin to end next weekend, as marine begins to work back in.

Have A Great Day!
