BOISE -- Firefighters have found a steamy way to raise money.
They're selling calendars of 12 firefighters from around the state who dared to pose for its pages.
Some of the men were signing the 2010 calendar at Borders in Boise Saturday morning.
The calendars sell for $15 each, and the money goes to a fund which pays for firefighters to go to safety seminars.
The goal is to reduce injuries and deaths in the line of duty.
Firefighters joked that finding volunteers to pose is a battle.
"Some guys appreciate it and some guys are a little bit more shy and would rather be a little more reserved,” said Steve Satterlee, a Boise Firefighter. “You kind have to twist arms to get guys to get in the calendar. But coming out for this kind of stuff, they have fun. They get to interact with the public which is our job on a daily basis anyway, so we enjoy that aspect of things."
If you're interested in buying the calendar, you did not miss your chance.
You can pick one up at any fire station or visit the Idaho Firefighters Web site to order one.
