The 64th Annual Seattle Boat Show kicks off Friday, January 21st, and runs through Sunday, January 30th. The show will feature thousands of boats ranging in price from $100 all the way up to $7.2 million at two locations: Qwest Field Event Center and South Lake Union.
The show will offer over 200 different boating seminars on everything from how to fish to insuring your boat. There will also be activities for the whole family, including a catch-and-release pond for the kids and the ultimate DIY project: building your own kit plane.
KING 5's Christie Johnson spent the morning aboard "SeaVenture," the biggest yacht at the show, seeing how some boaters do it up.
"There are nine bathrooms on board, five showers, and five bedrooms with two extra staterooms for crew - it can handle four crew and nine guests," said Peter Colagiovanni, Vice President of Hargrave Custom Yachts.
