Christmas will be a lot brighter for hundreds of families in Pierce County as police officers drop in for a surprise.
Dozens of off-duty law enforcement officers, corrections officers, and civilian law enforcement personnel have been delivering groceries and gifts to unsuspecting families since 1993.
