OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Two men arrested in what police call a major drug bust have been deported to Mexico several times for past drug offenses.
Thurston County's Narcotics Task Force arrested the two men and two women following an investigation that started with Tenino police three years ago. Investigators said the four people dealt methamphetamine in Pierce, Grays Harbor and Thurston counties.
Investigators said the men and women had more than $70,000 in cash in their homes and methamphetamine worth more than $150,000 when they were arrested Tuesday.
The Department of Homeland Security is also involved in the investigation.
All four suspects are Mexican residents.
