SEATTLE -- Dr. Maria Goodloe Johnson’s time as Seattle School Superintendent seems measured in hours as KING 5 News obtained new documents outlining where some of the nearly $1.8 million dollars of unaccounted for, or inappropriately spent money went.

There is a long list of powerful names and organizations which benefited from contracts doled out by Silas Potter.

An auditor said some of the contracts were beyond the scope of Potter’s authority and some of the invoices for work done by his hand-picked pool of contractors should never have been paid.

A criminal investigation is underway into whether this was a case of mismanagement or something more sinister.
