BOISE – Three people were arrested Thursday under suspicion of trafficking heroin.
The arrests came after an ongoing investigation by Boise Police Narcotics Detectives into the sale of heroin.
As part of the investigation, police conducted a traffic stop at Overland and Federal Way at 4 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle was suspected of being used to transport drugs in from California. Officers recovered approximately 31 grams of heroin from the vehicle and arrested the driver, Mark Boman, 45, of Boise.
Officers later arrested Jesse Duran, 48, of Boise and Vicki Ornelas, 40, of Boise, at a home on the 200 block of Jackson Street.
Detectives have evidence that all three suspects have been involved in the sale and distribution of heroin.
The suspects were booked at the Ada County Jail and charged with conspiracy to traffic heroin, a felony.
