Starting 5 p.m. November 4th, Northwest Cable News will provide seven hours of live, wall-to-wall, in-depth coverage of election night with a look at the top races and key ballot measures throughout the Northwest, utilizing coverage from affiliates KING 5 in Seattle, KGW in Portland, KREM 2 in Spokane and KTVB in Boise.

As polls close in the Eastern Time zone, NWCN anchors Greg Copeland and Erik Sandoval join an ensemble of news anchors and reporters in launching up-to-the-minute national and local election results. Anchor Dean Staley will give updates on the presidential race at our national desk, while anchor Shaniqua Manning will keep abreast of races and initiatives from our Washington/Alaska desk. Reporter Teresa Yuan will report the latest from our Oregon/Idaho desk.

Enhancing NWCN's election coverage are two political analysts who will provide context, insight and analysis as the night's events unfold. 

Providing analysis in the NWCN newsroom in Seattle will be Kathy Gill, a former state and federal lobbyist and senior lecturer at the University of Washington, and Paul Guppy with the Washington Policy Center. Guppy spent 12 years on staff of the U.S. Congress and is editor of the Policy Guide for Washington state.

NWCN will feature speeches by national and local candidates and will have live reports from our Belo Capitol Bureau in Washington, D.C., as well as from the campaign headquarters of the presidential candidates. NWCN will also dip into elections coverage by each of the affiliates and by KING5.com's special elections webcast.

NWCN will also provide continuous updated results on the key Northwest races and issues on their Election Ticker at the bottom of the screen.
