WASHINGTON -- Organic yogurt maker Stonyfield has voluntarily recalled more than 1,500 six-packs of its YoBaby Peach/Pear yogurt that may be contaminated with the coliform Klebsiella pneumoniae, federal officials said.

Nearly 200 of the six-packs were recalled last month in Mid-Atlantic and Southeast states. The recall was extended Monday to include 1,344 more six-packs at 271 stores in Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Alaska, and Northern California, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

The majority of these cases were pulled from store shelves. However, there is a possibility that a small number were purchased, the FDA statement reads. If you have purchased a 6-pack of YoBaby Peach/Pear yogurt cups with the code date June 05 2014 (see photo below), please return it to your store for a full refund.
