Former University of Washington football All-American Reggie Rogers was found dead Thursday afternoon in his home in Seattle. Sources tell KING 5 Rogers may have died from a drug overdose.

Rogers was a star football and basketball player at the University of Washington. He played football under Coach Don James from 1984-1986.

After college Rogers was a first round draft pick by the Detroit Lions, but his career was riddled with tragedy. In 1988 he killed three teenagers in a drunk driving accident and served time in prison. He was also arrested for a string of DUIs and just this month was arrested in Seattle and charged with domestic violence.

Rogers was 49 years old.
