ADRIAN - Fire crews with the Bureau of Land Management in Vale are fighting a large wildfire burning south of Adrian, Oregon. It's currently burning around 10,000 acres.

Bob Narus with the Vale BLM says the Owyhee Fire sparked from lightning around 9:00 p.m. Monday night. The Malheur County Sheriff's Office says crews are in the process of evacuating campers at Owyhee State Park. No other evacuations have been ordered.

Narus says the BLM is concerned with the high winds the area and erratic fire behavior. The BLM has three engines and a dozer on scene. Several local agencies are helping as well.
