BIRKENFELD, Ore. -- An EF-0 tornado was reported in Birkenfeld, Ore. Tuesday.

Witnesses said at least two trees and a rooftop antenna were destroyed. They also said it sounded like a freight train, but they weren't sure it was technically a tornado until the National Weather Service announced the classification Wednesday.

NWS spokeswoman Liana Ramirez said winds were between 65 and 85 MPH, meaning the storm was an EF-0 tornado.

Neighbors about a half-mile away said they didn't even see the tornado.
