The NFL draft is set to begin Thursday in New York. Football fans in Seattle and across the country will be paying close attention.

The Seahawks will hold a draft viewing party at the CenturyLink Event Center for 4500 preregistered season ticket holders.

Those who didn't make that list told KING5 they'll be in front of a television somewhere, watching the Seahawks' picks.

If you're really an NFLfan, you pay attention to the draft, said Seahawks fan Lorenzo Ray. Sometimes the draft can be unpredictable!

Two very lucky Seahawks fans will be traveling to New York for the draft, courtesy of the team.

Season ticket holder Michael Huston of Marysville will be given V.I.P. access to the draft. He will walk the red carpet with other hand-picked season ticket holders from teams around the league. He'll also get the chance to hand NFLCommissioner Roger Goodell a customized No. 1 Nike jersey from backstage as picks are announced during Round One of the draft. Huston has been a season ticket holder since 1985.

U.S. Army Ranger Sergeant JeffBaker will announce the Seahawks 4th Round pick at Radio City Music Hall. He is a graduate of Stanwood High School and is a longtime Seahawks fan. He is an active duty soldier now stationed at FortBenning.

Finally, retired Seahawk and Hall of Famer Walter Jones will announce the Seahawks second round pick.

On Wednesday, Jones tweeted: Heading to NYC for the NFL Draft 2013. Who's going number one? Can't wait to make the Seahawks second round pick. Go Seahawks!

As for who the Seahawks might pick, every fan has a few suggestions.

Me personally, I think they need an offensive lineman, said fan Kevin Knapp. And maybe wide receivers.

The Seahawks have a total of seven picks in this year's NFL Draft: 32, 64, 132, 146, 172, 208, 247.
