Four-time All-Pro defensive end Jared Allen is making a second visit to the Seattle Seahawks Thursday, according to s Ian Rapoport.

Allen visited Seattle last Sunday and then flew to Dallas to meet with the Cowboys. But Dallas just signed defensive tackle Henry Melton, so they are considered to be out of the running to sign Allen.

Allen, 31, had 11.5 sacks last season for the Minnesota Vikings and has averaged 13 sacks per season over his 10-year career.

Rapoport has previously reported that if Allen cannot get a deal that he likes, he may retire.

But, with a reported $15 million in cap space for 2014, the Seahawks could do for Allen what they did last season for Michael Bennett sign him to a one-year, big money contract.

The Seahawks would also represent the best opportunity Allen may ever have to win a Super Bowl. He has been on winning teams in five of his ten seasons and made it as far as the NFC Championship Game once in 2009 when the Vikings lost to the New Orleans Saints.
