The State Department of Transportation closed all lanes of Interstate 90 between Ellensburg and North Bend due to several fallen trees, heavy snow and slide concerns.

The closure went into effect at 9:45 p.m. Sunday.

State troopers said there are multiple trees down near milepost 38 in North Bend.

Traffic was stopped near Ellensburg at milepost 106 to give drivers more options for food and lodging.

All lanes of I-90 were expected to remain closed through Monday morning, and re-evaluated in the daylight hours.
