BOISE -- Valley County Sheriff's Office says they have found the plane that went missing in December that was had five people on board.

Officials say there appears to be no survivors at this time, and that due to the weather conditions and the storm moving in that recovery efforts might be delayed.

Back on December 1, the pilot, Dale Smith, lost radar contact with air traffic controllers, and last reported that he was headed for the Johnson Creek airstrip near Yellow Pine, Idaho. The plane took off from Baker City, Ore., and was bound for Butte, Mont.

Along with Dale Smith, his son, Daniel Smith, daughter-in-law Sheree Smith, daughter Amber Smith, and her fiance Jonathan Norton were also on the plane.

The state officially called off the search back on December 12, and that's when volunteers stepped in to continue the search.
