How soon is too soon for kids to learn about sex? Some parents in Onalaska, Washington complain their 10 and 11-year-old kids got graphic sex-ed lessons in school. Parents are outraged over the level of detail taught in the state mandated class, including oral and anal sex. Onalaska's superintendent says state law also requires fifth graders to learn about sexually transmitted diseases.

Parents can review the curriculum and have their child excused if they chose to. Since 1988 state law has required some sort of sex education beginning at fifth grade.
