SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Spokane Police Department is pouring resources into two homicide investigations.

David Brandon DePonte, 28, was found dead Friday morning in an alley at Bridge and Cannon. Police have yet to name any suspects in this case.

Detectives say they spent the last 24 hours interviewing witnesses, but they still need the public s help. Police released DePonte s photo in hopes of piecing together his final days. Anyone who saw him alive recently, or who has details on the murder, is asked to call CrimeStoppers.

The victim of the second homicide, a woman in her forties, was allegedly killed by Tony T. Callihan, 38, Friday afternoon. Police say the two were dating prior to this. The woman was found in her home in the 2300 block of West Broadway.

Callihan was last seen in the victim s car, a 2000 Dodge Stratus with Wash. license plate 474 WRH. Police say he has ties to north Spokane Co., and they believe he is in the area. The police department says the public should consider this suspect very dangerous. Anyone who sees Callihan should call police immediately.

While the homicides occurred in the same area, police do not believe they are related. Detectives continue to search for suspects.
