SEATTLE - After what happened at the Boston Marathon, the Seattle Mariners decided to review all of their safety and security practices at Safeco Field, according to spokesperson Rebecca Hale.

It gives us an opportunity to see where we might improve, said Hale.

Hale added that the safety and security of fans is a top priority. The Mariners work closely with local and state police.

You ll see a lot of police officers in uniform, but there are other police officers not in uniform. There are a lot of things that we do throughout the course of the day, especially on a game day, that is related towards safety and security that fans will perhaps never even know about, said Hale.

At Tuesday night s Mariners game some fans wore Red Sox baseball caps and T-Shirts. Tab Waterman of Portland made sign that said, You re in our hearts Boston.

Many said Monday s terrorist attack was not going to keep them from attending events like baseball games.

It was a horrible incident and our hearts go out to those families, but you can t live in fear, said Mariners fan Charlotte Hood.
