BOISE -- The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for Wednesday night and into Thursday morning.

The advisory will take effect at 8 p.m. MST, and is expected to last until 11 a.m. Thursday.

Forecasters caution that visibility could be a quarter of a mile or less at this time.

Reduced visibility will make driving difficult during the morning commute. Icy spots could form on roadways as the temperatures fall to near freezing.

If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
