Colorado's Boulder City Council is making a big push for bear-resistant trash cans. A very unique test was done to see if these new trash cans could bear up to the strength of a hungry bear.

TV cameras got a close look of a bear going at one of the new trash cans at a testing facility near Yellowstone National Park.

Bears can be very persistent, but the guy couldn't get the trash can to open.

Once the test phase is over, several cities may be ready to purchase the new trash cans.
