Two bodies were found dumped along the Duwamish Waterway on Saturday, Seattle Police said.

A man out for a walk at about 6:30 a.m. Saturday discovered a man s body in the area of 8th Ave. S. and S. Portland Street.

In the afternoon, a woman s body was found under a bridge near 1st Avenue South, near Michigan Street around 4 p.m.

Detectives were looking into the possibility of a connection between the two victims. They have yet to be identified.

Detectives served a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of S Southern Street and arrested a man and are investigating his possible involvement in the two murders, police said. He was booked on two counts of homicide.

Seattle Police spent Sunday at the home gathering evidence. Neighbors said the man who was arrested lives at the home with this elderly parents, who have not been seen in a few days.
