Police were looking Saturday for a gunman who shot two people at two different locations. Police say a woman was shot in Issaquah and a man was shot in Renton.

Renton Police were searching for 48-year-old John McKay, believed to be driving a 2011 Black Chevy Aveo with Oregon license No. 025 FJQ. It's believed to be a rental car.

Renton Police say at about 2:25 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 4100 block of NE 5th Street.

Mark Martinez, who lives next door, said he came home to find the victim lying on his back porch.

There's blood and medical supplies all over my back porch, he said.

Police say the male victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with critical injuries, and two adults were taken to Valley Medical Center to be treated for injuries due to being pistol whipped.

Police say after the Renton shooting, the suspect chased his former mother-in-law through her Issaquah home and through the back yard, shot her several times, leaving her for dead in the yard.

The King County Sheriff's Office says they have had contact with McKay in the past.

McKay is described as white, 5 09 , 220 pounds, balding with green eyes
