SPOKANE -- Two people are in custody and two others on the run after crashing a car through a North Spokane home's living room early Tuesday morning.

The wreck happened just before 2:00 a.m. in the 5700 block of North Cedar. Spokane Police and the Washington State Patrol are searching for the two people who fled the scene.

They say the driver of the car was 19 year old Abran Gibson, was one of the people who took off running. 19 year olds Makia Lund and Trevon Mims were passengers in the car along with 22 year old Enrique Martinez. Two of the passengers were detained by police, but one of them ran with Gibson.

Troopers say they noticed the car driving erratically on Division and then pursued that car to North Spokane. That's when troopers say the driver took a turn too fast, and crashed into the living room of a home.

Luckily, the two people inside the home were in another room sleeping, so no one was hurt.

WSP Troopers and Spokane Police officers searched the area for the two suspects who ran.

They tell us the car is registered to the driver, which will help them find him. The car was totaled in the wreck. Troopers say it's unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol were factors in this crash. They're still investigating.
