BOISE-- Boise Police have arrested a man they say was making conterfeit money.

Robert Basinger, 41,is charged with possession of a controlled substance and the manufacturing of counterfeit notes.

Police say they made the arrest after working with information provided by citizen tips.

At the home on South Curtis Road, officers found 2.5 grams of meth, scales and other drug paraphernalia.

Officers also located evidence that counterfeit money was being made, including fake bills in the home.
