PORTLAND, Ore. - Jeremiah Dominguez scored 23 points, including 19 in the second half, to lead Portland State to an 81-76 victory over the University of Portland Tuesday night.

Jamie Jones added 14 points for the Vikings (2-0) and Andre Murray chipped in 10 points.

Nik Raivio paced Portland (1-1) with 19 points. Robin Smeulders and Jared Stohl each had 16 for the Pilots.

Portland State battled back from a 46-39 deficit early in second half behind the offense of Dominguez, who connected on three 3-pointers, a lay-in and two free throws during a 17-4 PSU run that gave the Vikings a 56-50 lead.

Dominguez hit another 3-pointer with 4:28 to play to put PSU ahead 77-72, then made a driving lay-in that gave the Vikings a 79-72 advantage they would not relinquish.
