TWIN FALLS -- A base jumper in Twin Falls was rescued from a ledge after jumping from the Perrine Bridge Thursday afternoon.
Twin Falls City Public Information Officer Josh Palmer says around 1 p.m. dispatch got a call reporting a man had hit the canyon wall while base jumping.
Twin Falls County deputies, Twin Falls Police officers, and Twin Falls firefighters responded to find the man on a ledge. Palmer says rescuers were able to get the man down on the ground at Centennial Park.
Medics are assessing his injuries.
Base jumping has been stopped temporarily.
