SEATTLE - Two separate rollover crashes on I-5 sent 11 people to the hospital early Sunday.
State troopers believe alcohol is to blame for the two crashes on Interstate 5 in Seattle.
The first crash happened just after 3 a.m. on northbound I-5 at the Lake City Way exit.
Witnesses told Troopers they saw the car speeding, between 80-90 miles per hour, swerving and losing control before the crash.Troopers suspect the crash is alcohol related and the driver is under investigation for vehicular assault.
All six people were taken to Harborview and are expected to recover.
Around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, a second crash happened on northbound I-5 near the Mercer Street exit.Five people were hurt.
Troopers believe the accident is also alcohol related and the driver is also under investigation for vehicular assault.
In yet another rollover, a 35-year-old male driver was arrested for DUI after a crash on SR 18 just east of 304th.
Troopers said they had five separate rollover crashes in King County on Sunday morning.
