MOSES LAKE A late night raid Thursday in Moses Lake turned up several ounces of marijuana, less than one block from an elementary school.

The Grant County interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team served a search warrant at 1230 Arlington Drive in the Larson housing Area. It is located 700 feet from North Elementary School. Citizens reported suspicious behavior at the home to police.

During the raid, the team seized about 147 grams of suspected marijuana found inside the home, including 16 grams which was portioned and packaged in plastic sandwich bags.

Jake Avery Allen, 23, and Sabrina M. Pool, 27, were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver in a school zone. Avery Allen was lodged in the Grant County Jail. Felony charges were pending against Pool, who was released to care for her children.
