A Clyde Hill Police Department officer fired a shot at a stolen pickup truck after the driver rammed a police cruiser and attempted to run over the officer.

The officer fired at the vehicle as it sped away and crashed in the 1800 block of NE 96th. The two subjects fled the truck on foot. The officer was not hurt

The Bellevue Police Department assisted Clyde Hill PD in the search for the suspects and the investigation. Kirkland and Bellevue K9 units found one of the suspects, identified as a passenger in the truck, in the 9300 block of N.E. 14th Street.

He was arrested and taken to Overlake Hospital Medical Center with a superficial gunshot wound to his arm and was later booked into King County Jail.

The driver of the truck was not located and is described as a white male, 18-20 years old, approximately 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8 with platinum blonde short hair, wearing sweatpants and athletic type shoes.

Police say the two subjects stole the maroon Dodge Ram truck when it was left unattended and running in the driveway of a Woodinville home. There were several reports of a recklessly driven pickup truck.

If you have any information regarding the driver of the vehicle you are asked to call 911 and ask for the on duty officer at Clyde Hill Police Department.
