Police are asking the public s help to find a 6-year-old girl missing since Saturday night.

The Kitsap County Sheriff s Office says Janice Paulette Wright, 6, was last seen by family members around 10 p.m. Saturday when she went to bed at her family s mobile home in the 1400 block of NE Steele Creek Drive in East Bremerton.

Janice lives with her parents and six siblings.

The family says Janice has left home before to wander around the neighborhood with friends or siblings, but checks in ever few hours. The family assumed she was in the area when they didn t see her Sunday morning.

The sheriff s office says the family got concerned when they hadn t heard from Janice by 8:30 p.m. Sunday. They started checking door-to-door in the mobile home park, then called 911 at around 10 p.m.

Janice is 3-feet tall and 45 pounds with a medium build. She is white, Native American and Filipino. She has black hair and brown eyes. The family wasn t sure what she was wearing.

Search and rescue teams have been using thermal imaging and K-9s to search for Janice. Investigators say Janice might have been seen in the mobile home park between 2 and 4 p.m. Sunday.
