Cupertino, CA -- Some people who've upgraded to iOS-7 on their iPhones or iPads said it's making them nauseous, giving them headaches and even vertigo.

Health experts believe the sharpness of the screen and the moving graphics were to blame.

Apple s tech support team has logged quite a number of complaints and the problems have also been discussed in many online forums.

The software replicates zooming in and out when switching between apps which can confuse a person s brain into thinking they are moving.

Apple s team suggested going into settings and making this quick fix: Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion.

This should help, but may not be an ultimate fix to the problem. Switching back to iOS6 for those with continued symptoms was another option that Apple may consider in the near future.

Here are other tips to alleviate the symptoms of motion sickness:

  • Look away from the screen and fixate on a distant point for 1-2 minutes to reduce the sensation of nausea and dizziness.
  • Simply close your eyes as the icons open and close.
