Andie Davis said the wallaroo, Hopkins, got scared while her landlord was working with some equipment and ran off, breaking through the gate on Davis property. There have been several sighting of Hopkins in the past several weeks but no one was able to catch him.

Davis then set up a deer trap in her neighbor s garden and Hopkins was captured Tuesday morning.

A wallaroo is the third largest species of the kangaroo family and is native to Australia.

Davis said the wallaroo got scared while her landlord was working with some equipment and ran off, breaking through the gate on Davis property.
