GLADSTONE, Ore. Gladstone firefighters freed two goats who had been trapped while being chased by predators Wednesday.

Someone reported two goats were being attacked by large dogs on the 1400 block of Columbia.

Officers said they found what were two coyotes or wolves in the enclosure with two goats, Isabella and Penelope, that were trapped in between several large boulders. Penelope was able to free herself, but Isabella could not get out.

The predators ran off and firefighters were able to free Isabella. Neither suffered any injuries.
