FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- A woman whose U-Haul trailer was stolen in Federal Way gets help from the community.

Thieves stole Lee Emory's U-Haul from a motel parking lot earlier this week. She's in the middle of moving from Arizona to Washington.

All her life's possessions, including her late husband's ashes, were on the truck. But Thursday, KING 5 learned Federal Way police and a couple of local companies stepped up to help her out.

King County Multi-Service Center put police in touch with Hart Insurance, which donated a couch, a TV and two lamps.
