Doctors are warning expectant mothers that a common household product could harm babies.

A group of researchers from Arizona State found that certain anti-bacterial items may be exposing pregnant woman and their fetuses to harmful chemicals.

Experts say those chemicals have been found to cause developmental and reproductive problems.

Triclosan and triclocarban are the two common ones, said Isaac Roll, Arizon State University researcher. Some of these anti microbials are actually being transmitted from the mothers' body into the unborn child.

The FDA is currently reviewing possible regulations on those compounds. Doctors say that for most people, including mothers, regular soap will get the job done.
