LEWISTON-- Lewiston Police filed criminal charges against the owner of a local smoke shop for selling a Schedule I narcotic.

During January 2012 the Lewiston Police Department conducted an investigation involving the sales of Spice, a Schedule I narcotic, at the BAWA Smoke Shops located at 621 Bryden Avenue, Suite A and 2405 East Main Street in Lewiston.

On Friday, criminal charges were filed with the Nez Perce County 2nd District Court against the owner/manager of the BAWA Smoke Shops, Sunair Iqbal, 24.

These charges included six counts of delivery of a Schedule I narcotic, two counts of possession of a Schedule I narcotic with intent to deliver, and one count of racketeering.
