A rapidly growing wildfire is burning near Lake Wenatchee, prompting people to evacuate the area, say Department of Natural Resources officials.

According to unconfirmed reports, at least one structure has been burned and more are threatened. Photos from a homeowner in the area show flames coming dangerously close to their house.

No injuries have been reported.

DNRofficials say the fire started around 7 p.m. near Lake Wenatchee Road and Brown Road on the north side of the lake. The fire spread to 10-15 acres and was rapidly growing.
