GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- Travel on I-5 southbound at the Oregon-California border was snarled Friday due to blizzard conditions. The route was closed to trucks and delays of several hours were reported. Travelers on I-5 in Southern Oregon were warned to expect winter weather conditions and delays.

A Winter Weather Advisory continued through Saturday at 10 a.m. for the Siskiyous and the Southern Oregon Cascades.
I-5 near Grants Pass reopened Thursday evening after a winter storm closed a 33-mile stretch of the interstate for most of the day.
Thursday's closure of the Interstate, which began eight miles North of Grants Pass and stretched between milepost 66 and milepost 90, snarled traffic for hours and created long travel delays.
