Heavy rain and hail pummeled some areas in the Puget Sound region on Sunday afternoon, leaving behind gorgeous rainbows.

The cool, unstable air moving in from the northwest could bring more thunderstorms on Monday. Highs will run in the upper 40s to low 50s.

Be prepared for winter driving conditions in the mountains again. Most of the passes will see just scattered showers and snow levels near 3,000 feet.
