PORTLAND -- Authorities arrested a man at a campground near Timothy Lake Saturday morning after he assaulted his wife in front of their child Friday night and pulled a knife on a man the next morning, deputies said.
Levi Jackson, 26, was bleeding from the back of his head when he was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Clackamas County. He is facing charges including assault and menacing, said Adam Phillips with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities said several people told Jackson to leave the campground Friday morning after assaulting his wife the night before. That's when he pulled a knife on a man, Phillips said.
The man then picked up a piece of firewood and reportedly hit Jackson in the head before running to the camp host to call deputies.
Deputies believed Jackson was under the influence of meth and alcohol.
