VANCOUVER -- A Vancouver woman and her son face charges for harboring a teenage Vancouver girl who was listed as missing for two weeks.

Detectives on Wednesday arrested 50-year-old Lori M. Kingrey and her 17-year-old son for harboring a runaway.

Isabella Castillo, 16, disappeared while walking home from Hudson Bay High School on March 25. Police said she appeared to be unharmed when she was found Tuesday.

A few hours after her March disappearance, Castillo's aunt and legal guardian, Cymany O'Brien, got a strange text message from Castillo. It read she was safe, but was not coming home.

Her family at first feared she had been a possible victim of sex traffickers. Police on Tuesday said they do not believe that was the case.

Isabella's large Vancouver family posted fliers up and down the Interstate 5 corridor during the search.
