ALBANY, Ore. Police are investigating an odd case of animal theft in Albany.

A man is accused of stealing a Chihuahua and a ball python as part of a vendetta against the family who owns them, according to a report in the Corvallis Gazzette-Times.

Blaze McCormick, 39, of Brownsville, has been arrested in the case, on burglary and theft charges. But he has refused to tell police anything about the animals whereabouts, according to the Gazette-Times report.

Casey and David Stradley said they re very worried about their dog, Jazzy and their snake, Killer.

The Stradleys told the Gazette-Times that McCormick used to be their friend and was acting vindictively after he recently broke up with a friend of theirs.
