SPOKANE--Dozens of volunteers spent their Thanksgiving helping feed the less fortunate at Meals on Wheels in downtown Spokane.

The volunteers cooked enough to feed 400 people. They sent out meals to-go and also served hundreds of dine-in feasters.

Of course, Meals on Wheels was just one of dozens of other organizations cooking up a free Thanksgiving dinner. The Union Gospel Mission is serving turkeys until six Thursday night.
