GRANT COUNTY - The Grant County Sheriff's Department is investigating the suspicious death of a woman who was found in a house that was the previous site of an investigation where a pipe bomb was found in the summer.

Grant County Undersheriff John Turley said the body was discovered in the home in the 4000 block of Stratford Road N.E. around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Turley said the agency has asked the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab to assist in the investigation.

Authorities said the body was that of a white female approximately in her 30s.

Turley said the woman whose body was found Tuesday was an acquaintance of the 53-year-old man, Javier Martinez Adame, who was killed Aug. 3 by a pipe bomb in the kitchen.

Just 10 hours earlier, another Moses Lake man, 69-year-old William Arleigh Walker, was killed by a pipe bomb in his workshop. Investigators said the homicides were unconnected.
